Former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Grant DuBose was taken off the field on a stretcher after a helmet-to-helmet hit during the Miami Dolphins game on Sunday afternoon.

DuBose who is in his first year with the Dolphins, suffered a head injury when Houston Texans safety Calen Bullock hit him high as he was attempting to make a catch in the third quarter of their game.

He was carted off the field as members of the Dolphins surrounded the scene on the field. The Dolphins trailed 20-6 at the time.

DuBose is being evaluated for a head injury. He was in stable condition while being taken to the hospital for further evalutation, according to a Dolphins social media post during the game.

First I just wanna send prayers to Grant," Stroud said in his on-field post-game interview. "Tough situation right there, just hoping he’s OK. Praying for his recovery and he can get back on the field

This is just DuBose's third game on the active roster for the Dolphins and first since Week 2. He had one reception in those first two games.
